Crow Vision is an online education platform focused on helping non-native English speakers build real language skills. We run live small-group ESL sessions with a student-centered approach, using a structured curriculum aligned with Bristol Community College's ESL program. We believe in cultural exchange, inclusive learning, and teaching that actually moves the needle.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online ESL Instructor. You'll lead live small-group sessions of 4–6 students grouped by proficiency level, primarily serving learners in Vietnam and South Korea. Responsibilities include delivering structured lessons, tracking student progress, providing feedback, and communicating with parents through our platform. Scheduling is flexible and built around student demand across time zones.
Qualifications
• Experience teaching ESL, EFL, or a related subject
• Comfortable leading live online sessions via Zoom or similar tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different proficiency levels
• Understanding of language acquisition for non-native speakers is a plus
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is a plus, not a requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or related field preferred
• Passion for working with diverse, international student populations
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment
Pay is based on session type and experience level, starting at $21.50/hr for new teachers and averaging $41.50/hr for experienced instructors teaching TOEFL/IELTS and sprint sessions.
Standard ESL Sessions
• Entry level: $18/hr
• Experienced: $33/hr
TOEFL/IELTS & Sprint Sessions
• Entry level: $25/hr
• Experienced: $50/hr
Additional Earnings
• Assessment pass bonus: $12 per student who passes
• Teacher referral bonus: $50 per approved referral
• Teacher training sessions (senior teachers only): $50/hr
• 1-on-1 tutoring: $18–22/hr
