What you’ll bring:
6+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong fundamentals in building reliable, scalable systems (Go experience is a plus)2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, ideally in a fast-paced fintech or e-commerce environmentExperience building scalable, distributed systems and working with high-load architecturesSolid understanding of backend tools and technologies — we use PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architectureExperience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product developmentA passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable codeA proactive mindset and the ability to work independentlyStrong communication skills in English
Responsibilities:
Lead large cross-team projects and drive them to productionContribute to quarterly planning and roadmap definitionReview feature designs and ensure non-functional requirements are metOversee technical debt management and incident handlingHire, evaluate, and motivate team membersBuild cross-team and cross-functional collaboration to increase efficiencyFoster a results- and business-oriented cultureMonitor key team performance indicatorsEnsure process and delivery transparency for stakeholders and partner functionsOptimize processes to improve productivity
