State Compensation Insurance Fund is California’s largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance, established in 1914. They are looking for bright, driven individuals to participate in their Emerging Leader Program, aimed at developing future leaders who will support their mission to serve California’s businesses and workers effectively. Responsibilities Participate in a two-year curriculum of industry-leading training that includes in-person and virtual workshops, mentoring and coaching, job shadowing, online eLearning modules, and hands-on experience working in a business simulation Engage in a two-year work rotation that will develop understanding and skills in core roles involved in being an insurance professional, which may include roles in Underwriting, Claims, or other parts of the organization Travel to live workshops as required Skills Completed STD 678 application Resume Transcript (unofficial or official) Statement of qualifications Duties performed, start and end dates, and hours worked per week for each position held in the STD 678 application Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, have LEAP eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility may be considered Must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s) Company Overview State Compensation Insurance Fund is a non-profit organization that provides workers compensation insurance.
