Email Marketing Specialist – Omnisend / Shopify |

Australian direct-to-consumer hearing aid brand selling FDA-registered OTC devices primarily through paid social. We're growing fast and need someone who knows email marketing inside-out to build a proper retention engine alongside our acquisition efforts.

The Brief

We need an experienced email marketing specialist to audit what we have, fix what's broken, build what's missing, and set us up for the year ahead. This is a project-based engagement with potential for ongoing work.

Scope of Work

1. Audit & Strategy

— Review our current email flows, templates, and performance

— Identify gaps, quick wins, and structural issues

— Recommend a full email flow architecture

2. Flow Build-Out

We need the following flows designed, written, and implemented:

Welcome / Nurture Sequence:

— Sign-up welcome (brand intro + coupon)

— Nudge email (haven't redeemed coupon yet)

— Founder story (who we are, why we exist)

— Product overview (prod1,2,3 highlights + hint at what's coming next)

— 2–3 additional content/nurture emails at the tail end of the sequence

Transactional / Behavioural Flows:

— Add-to-cart

— Abandoned checkout

— Browse abandonment

— Post-purchase thank you

— Second post-purchase follow-up (review/feedback request)

3. Template Redesign

— Redesign our email templates so they align with our brand (clean, trustworthy, DTC health/tech aesthetic)

— Ensure mobile responsiveness and strong readability

4. E-Commerce Calendar Planning

— Map out key sales dates and promotional windows for the next 6–12 months

— Recommend campaign concepts and timing so we're not scrambling last minute

Ideal Candidate

— Proven experience with Omnisend + Shopify

— Strong copywriting skills — you write emails that convert, not just fill inboxes

— Portfolio of DTC or health/wellness email work

— Understands segmentation, deliverability, and flow logic

— Can work autonomously — brief in, finished work out
