Data EngineerAbout the Role: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our engineering team at one of our clients in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers our legal research platform.Responsibilities:Design and optimize the database schema, leveraging Postgres and ElasticsearchDevelop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load legal research dataImplement efficient querying and indexing strategies to power the search and analytics functionalityMonitor database performance and implement optimizations as neededWork closely with the full-stack engineers to ensure the data layer supports the product requirements.Requirements:2+ years of experience working with databases, particularly PostgresFamiliarity with Elasticsearch is a plusStrong SQL and data modeling skillsExperience building data pipelines and optimizing database performanceStartup experience is a strong plusExcellent problem-solving and communication abilitiesThis is a fully onsite role in our New York office. Competitive compensation based on experience. Salary Range: $150-170K/Annually
