Email Marketing Specialist for Monthly Segmented Newsletters (Mailchimp & Constant Contact)

Job Description: I’m looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to plan, create, and manage monthly newsletter campaigns for segmented audiences. You should be able to handle the full lifecycle of each campaign—from strategy and design to copywriting, setup, testing, and reporting. Responsibilities: Develop a monthly email newsletter strategy aligned with our business goals and audience segments. Set up and manage campaigns in Mailchimp and Constant Contact. Create email templates and layouts that are mobile-responsive, visually appealing, and on-brand. Write clear, engaging newsletter copy (subject lines, preheaders, body copy, CTAs). Segment the email list based on behavior, interests, and demographics. Implement A/B tests (subject lines, content, send times, etc.) as needed. Ensure deliverability best practices (spam compliance, list hygiene, etc.). Provide monthly performance reports, including: Open rates Click-through rates Conversions (where applicable) Unsubscribes and list growth Recommendations for improvement for the next month Requirements: Proven experience running email marketing campaigns and newsletters. Hands-on expertise with Mailchimp and Constant Contact (required). Strong skills in email design and layout (can be via built-in editors or basic HTML/CSS). Excellent copywriting skills in English, with attention to tone, clarity, and conversion. Experience with audience segmentation and basic marketing automation. Ability to interpret campaign analytics and turn them into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet monthly deadlines. Nice to Have (Optional): Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Figma, or similar). Experience with lead nurturing sequences and drip campaigns.
