Electronic Security Engineer
We are looking for an Engineer to join our largest electronic security client's team immediately. This is supporting a state funded project, and will be remote but require 10% travel for site surveys in New York State.
Below is a summary of the position:
ā¢ Lead the development of integrated electronic security system designs including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies.
ā¢ Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and clients to define requirements, scope of work, and detailed technical specifications.
ā¢ Prepare and review engineering estimates, system layouts, submittal documentation, and technical drawings.
ā¢ Support the sales process by delivering compelling technical presentations and proposals.
ā¢ Serve as a technical expert and escalation point during installation and commissioning phases.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in electronic security installation and integration
ā¢ 1+ year of experience in ESS design experience ideally - creating BOMs and SOWs
ā¢ Extensive knowledge of security platforms such as Genetec, Software House, Lenel, Axis, Avigilon, Exacq, or Milestone.
Ability to pass a State Government background check
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ā¢ Bachelor's degree preferred
ā¢ Lenel or Genetec Certified Professional
