Applications for Apprenticeship will be available at 25 South 5th St, Shamokin, PA. Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM or online at https://ibew607.com/apprenticeship* Applications must be submitted by April 25, 2025 @ 3:30 PM to be considered for class in September 2025.*
Basic Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent, Algebra with a passing grade, Valid Driver's License, minimum 18 years of age (or 17, turning 18 by start of classes in September 2025).
Applicant must be a full-time resident of the Jurisdiction of Local Union 607 for the past year. Additional requirements apply.
Jurisdiction of IBEW LU 607: Parts of Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Schuylkill Counties.
Incomplete applications and/or individuals lacking a requirement will be rejected. Candidates are required to take an aptitude test, physical exam, and a drug test. IBEW Local Union 607 will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older.
