Education-Based Social Worker Full-Time Opportunity

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a passionate School Social Worker to provide critical support to K–12 students in Middletown, Rhode Island. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative educational team, focusing on the well-being and academic success of students. Located just 30 miles southeast of Providence, Middletown offers a scenic coastal environment with access to both quiet communities and the amenities of a larger city nearby. As a school social worker in this position, you will: • Support students' emotional, social, and behavioral development through one-on-one and small group interventions • Partner with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized support strategies • Assist with the coordination of services for students facing personal, family, or social challenges • Participate in IEP meetings and help manage individualized student plans • Connect students and families to community resources when needed Qualifications for this position include: • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) • Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification as a School Social Worker • Active LCSW or LICSW licensure is highly preferred • Experience in a school-based setting is a strong asset • Must pass required fingerprinting and background checks At Blazer Jobs, our goal is to support professionals who dedicate their careers to helping students grow.
