DSP Strategist

OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a DSP Strategist to join our DSP Team. As a Display Strategist, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and be encouraged to learn and develop skills both within and beyond your role. You'll be working surrounded by passionate, high-performing individuals.

This role will be responsible for campaign strategy, launch, management, insights, reporting and client facing to present the strategies and the expansion of our media plans. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, has very strong communication skills to navigate challenging situations with clients, applies data-driven decision-making, and is passionate about data analytics. You'll use data to build compelling narratives for our customers that align with our strategies and the path we believe their business should take to scale.

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience within the digital marketing and/or retail industries
2+ years of experience working with digital marketing platforms and channels – Amazon DSP, DV360, Meta, Google Ads, etc.
5+ years of experience within a client-facing role (preferably managing small and medium size brands)
Analytical in nature; BI or data analytics experience will be a significant differentiation
English proficiency required — must be able to speak and write in the language fluently

NICE TO HAVE:
Amazon DSP, Meta, DV360, Google Ads or Google Analytics certification
Experience interfacing with clients regarding display strategy and performance
Track record of using data to craft narratives and drive decision-making
Experience creating reports and presenting them to customers with other deliverables
Intellectual curiosity, with a strong desire to both learn and experiment in a rapidly changing industry
Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
Background in e-commerce or product-focused advertising

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This role centers on hands-on account optimization and management. You will execute strategy adjustments and performance monitoring across a substantial portfolio of assigned DSP accounts. Our DSP product platform is continuously evolving, and as a strategist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping its development by surfacing feedback and insights from your client work.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead assigned accounts: Act as the primary strategist across multiple DSP accounts, managing and monitoring performance while working closely with our Customer Strategy Manager (CSM) team to drive client success.
Develop media strategies: Create comprehensive media plans that account for seasonality, high-season periods, shopping dates, and low-season opportunities. Identify new audience segments and strategically design campaigns to expand client business across the purchase journey.
Execute campaigns: Own the full campaign lifecycle from initial strategy discussions with clients, through campaign development (audience targeting, campaign structure, creative alignment), launch execution, and ongoing reporting.
Optimize performance: Perform account analyses to identify optimization opportunities, recommend strategic adjustments, and communicate value to clients. Execute campaign changes per client requests with clear communication of expectations and potential outcomes.
Drive spend and retention metrics: Own monthly spend pacing and account MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) retention as core performance metrics tied to team bonus eligibility. Deliver consistent results against these key performance indicators.
Manage client relationships: Attend weekly or bi-weekly customer calls as requested by the CSM, leading performance recaps, addressing ad hoc requests, and managing follow-ups. For high-churn-risk accounts, actively defend strategies, educate clients on our methodology, and keep them engaged on account progress.
Diagnose and communicate: Understand each client's business and goals to formulate strategy for assigned accounts. Diagnose performance issues independently and communicate findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
Surface insights: Continually identify product and user experience feedback from client interactions and surface it to internal teams. Help shape the roadmap of Quartile's DSP product based on real client needs.
Stay current: Maintain awareness of industry trends and platform updates. Regularly attend trainings on Quartile's platform and collaborate with product leadership to understand how to leverage new capabilities.
Contribute to team: Assist in training and mentoring team members and influence the development of internal processes and best practices for DSP strategy and execution.
Account Ownership & Execution: You will manage client relationships, execute strategy, diagnose performance issues, and communicate results independently. You will work closely with our Customer Strategy Manager team, but you own the day-to-day execution and success of your assigned accounts.
