We are looking for an experienced full time Non-CDL Box Truck driver to join the team and be based out of our warehouse location in New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pick up and delivery of our products across the tri-state region. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will transport our products between warehousing, distribution points, manufacturing plants, and retail locationsYou will inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenanceYou will plan routes and meet delivery schedulesYou will document and log work/rest periods and mileage spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsYou will input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading processYou will comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresYou will maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsYou will collect and verify delivery instructionsYou will assist the Shipping and Receiving teams in the loading and unloading of trucksYou will report defects, accidents, or violations WHO YOU ARE You have proven work experience as a commercial truck driverYou have experienced driving a 16-foot box truckYou have hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)You have the ability to drive long hours and travel regularlyYou have extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsYou have no recent moving or driving violationsYou have the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.)You have the adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)You are willing to submit to background checks, random drug screenings and provide employment verification NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $18 and $20/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
