They will lead and develop a team of General Managers (and Area Managers) who lead a portfolio of 8 company owned stores throughout the Alabama, Tennessee, and Northern Florida areas. Success in this role comes from setting and hitting goals, developing talent, and creating a culture of high performance and high fun. This role requires abilities in people planning and business strengths, in meeting sales plans and retention metrics to both produce results in existing stores and develop a talent pipeline and operational excellence to open new stores with ease. This role is uniquely positioned to drive company growth and lead into the future. Annual Salary range: $93,000 to $100,000Bonus: Quarterly bonus potentialTo ensure success in this role, the District Manager must be in constant pursuit of delivering our Purpose and living our Values. It is imperative that the DM’s leadership celebrates, fosters, and actively cultivates Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.DOING – What you deliver: Develop General Managers (and Area Managers) who exceed guest expectations, grow sales and maximize profit by rigorously selecting, diligently training and thoughtfully coaching and mentoring staff through store vitals by utilizing tools and resources including Store Visits 2-4x monthly, People Planning, Recruiting, Financial Business Reviews, and Marketing Tools and Directives.Ensure all stores are adequately staffed with quality Shift Leaders, and where applicable, Assistant General Managers.Maintain management depth by regularly planning for succession, actively recruiting and critically selecting internal and external General Manager candidatesProvides timely and thoughtful feedback. Consistently demonstrates active and timely coaching capabilitiesOffers guidance to leaders regarding personal development opportunities and career path.Monitor and participate in all levels of training from new Team Member through District ManagerManage the district Profit and Loss (P&L), including General and AdministrationUtilizes and interprets P&L and financial statements to analyze financial trends and make the necessary adjustmentsAssist General Managers in the timely resolution of all issues, including but not limited to: employee/customer relations, supply chain management and asset managementFollow-up on all customer and employee complaints and ensure necessary corrective measures at the store levelUses financial planning knowledge to manage budgets for stores, self, and company, day-to-day, and for the futureCoordinate all activities associated with timely new store openingsEnsure effective communication (top down and bottom up) throughout the district, region and companyUtilize communication tools such as Outlook, monthly General Manager meetings and monthly store meetingsNot only are they responsible to oversee and provide leadership to multiple store locations within the region to achieve excellence in all aspects of the business, and the District Manager will also develop creative team member engagement strategies and foster a culture of continuous internal growth and developmentBEING – How you show upBrings the Core Values to life in all that you do: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With LoveLeads by giving and earning trust of direct reports, peers and leadersTakes ownership of ALL OF IT, with pride, joy and enthusiasmTakes being yourself seriously – shows up at their best self all the time and demands the same of their teamPossesses a clear and engaging communication style rooted in a desire to understand others and cocreate solutionsLeads with a global view of the Bagel Brands – looking beyond the area/district to the region and holistic brandTeam feels valued, appreciated and seen through individual, intentional, personal relationshipsMaintains a calm and composed demeanor amidst chaos and confusion.
