They are seeking an early-career Distribution Engineer to collaborate across disciplines and manage engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and design power systems for power-generating facilitiesCollaborate across disciplines to understand mechanical engineering integration with electrical, civil, and other specialtiesManage scope, schedule, budget, and quality with minimal oversightProduce high-quality, error-free engineering documents that meet industry codes, standards, and client expectationsStay current with the latest industry standards and safety practices relevant to the nuclear sectorDeliver innovative, compliant solutions that support client needsBuild strong client relationships through clear communication and professional collaborationConduct site visits to interface with client personnel and see engineering solutions in actionSkillsGraduated with a bachelor's or master's in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited universityAvailable to start within the next 1-3 monthsDemonstrated proficiency in the preparation of mechanical calculationsStrong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, presenting design proposals, and documenting design specificationsProficient in Word and ExcelAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsMust be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sitesMust be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdownsMust be able to work outsideAbility and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetingsPlease note: Some roles may involve work on federal contracts that require employees to be citizens of the United States.
