Director of Talent

About the roleWe are looking for a Director of Talent to build out our talent acquisition efforts during a period of rapid growth. This role will own recruiting strategy and execution, build and support a growing recruiting team, and strengthen the processes and tools that enable efficient, high-quality hiring across the company. This is a player–coach role for someone who enjoys being close to the work while also shaping how recruiting operates as the company scales.What you’ll doOwn end-to-end recruiting across the company, from intake through offer, with a focus on speed, quality, and candidate experience.Ensure recruiting practices maintain a high talent bar and align with company values.Hire, coach, and develop a high-performance recruiting team, providing clear priorities and day-to-day supportDevelop and execute a long-term, scalable recruitment strategy aligned with business growth & product roadmapsPartner closely with hiring managers and leadership to align on hiring needs, role definitions, and timelines.Design and improve recruiting processes with an automation-first mindset, reducing manual work and increasing consistency.Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-enabled recruiting tools across sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting.Establish lightweight, structured interview practices and hiring manager guidance.Track key recruiting metrics and use data and insights to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.What we’re looking for8+ years of recruiting experience with demonstrated leadership of hiring and leading a team.Proven talent leadership experience in a hypergrowth company Proven ability to operate as a player–coach in a growing organization.Experience improving or scaling recruiting processes and systems.Strong partnership skills with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders.Practical, resourceful approach with a bias toward action.
