Director of Finance

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial reporting and oversee tax, payroll, and accounts payables. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams in a dynamic environment and managing audits. Core ResponsibilitiesLead Controllership FunctionOversee the month-end close process ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the US GAAP financial statements.Manage the preparation and dissemination of internal and external financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, management reports and annual audits.Serve as the key liaison and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely financial statement audits.Design, implement and maintain effective internal controls for operational processes. Lead process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and reporting capabilities of the Finance team. Prepare budget variance reporting and assist in the annual budgeting process.Oversee accounts payable function to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.Oversee Tax FunctionWork closely with external tax partners to ensure multi-country tax compliance, including income tax, VAT/GST, federal and state filings, and other regulatory filings. Prepare quarterly tax installment estimates and payments.Oversee Payroll FunctionWork cross-functionally with the Sales team and People team to ensure commissions, bonuses, salaries, reimbursements and other payroll records are accurate and pay runs are completed on time.
