The Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the admissions team, including counselors, senior counselors, and assistants, to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process. This role provides leadership and guidance to staff who manage incoming calls from potential clients and strategic accounts, enter and maintain accurate data in the CRM system, verify insurance coverage, and conduct clinical and medical screening. The Admissions Director collaborates closely with onsite teams to coordinate admissions schedules and appointment times, ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and adherence to organization standards

Responsibilities Include:
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support admissions counselors and assistants, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Workflow Management: Oversee the intake process, including phone calls from potential clients and strategic accounts, ensuring timely and accurate handling of inquiries.
• Data Oversight: Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of client information in the CRM system, monitoring for compliance and quality.
• Insurance Verification: Oversee the verification of insurance coverage and ensure proper documentation for admissions.
• Screening Coordination: Manage and review clinical and medical screenings conducted by the admissions team to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Scheduling: Collaborate with onsite teams to coordinate admission dates and times, optimizing client experience and operational efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team metrics, provide feedback, and implement process improvements to enhance admissions outcomes.
• Compliance: Ensure all admissions activities comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, medical, and administrative teams to facilitate smooth transitions for clients.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Health/medical background preferred
• At least two years of admissions experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of clinical and medical screening processes
• Clinical licensure for mental health is preferred
• Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
• Proven ability to manage and oversee admissions teams, including counselors and assistants, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional client service.
• Hands-on experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) for data entry, case management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and coordination of care within behavioral health programs.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with onsite teams to schedule admissions and optimize client intake processes.
