Director, Hendrick Clinic - Clinical Services

Job Summary
• The Hendrick Clinic Director of Clinical Services, in collaboration with Hendrick Clinic executive leadership and the Hendrick Health System CNO, is responsible for the delivery of clinical services at all Hendrick Clinic locations and the integration and operations of all regulatory and accreditation services. The Director ensures all clinical personnel are operating within the scope of practice boundaries and is responsible for the quality of clinical care as well as care coordination, onboarding and orientation, ongoing professional development and clinical informatics to support quality care.

Job Requirements
• Minimum Education
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or other healthcare field or hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with required enrollment in a master’s degree program within 12 months of employment in the role.
• Minimum Work Experience
• Five years of relevant progressive work experience in healthcare with at least 2 years' supervisory experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• Registered Nurse
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills required for effective and creative leadership in working with all levels of the organization including physicians, committees, senior management, and Trustees, as well as patients and their families.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory requirements in quality assessment, performance improvement, resource management, and care coordination.
• Ability to lead, support, and build on current efforts of the various clinics
• Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, third party payers, and regulators
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with computerized clinical information systems
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, integrity, and diplomacy
• Ability to develop and compose applicable policies and procedures
• Ability to coordinate meetings
• Ability to interview others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to research information
• Ability to use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis
