Description

Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the digital marketing team in driving online visibility, executing and maintaining digital marketing initiatives, and measuring the performance of hotel websites and paid media campaigns. This role will assist with website updates, brand compliance, OTA (Online Travel Agency) audits, email marketing efforts, basic SEO tasks, and performance reporting.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Internship or academic experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related areas is a plus.
• Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, paid media, email marketing, and analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Responsibilities
• Assist with routine website updates, including content updates, image changes, and link checks.
• Conduct regular audits of brand standards across hotel websites and online travel agency (OTA) platforms (e.g., Expedia, Booking.com).
• Support the digital marketing team in monitoring the accuracy and consistency of online listings and promotional content.
• Pull and organize basic digital performance data (e.g., website traffic, email campaign stats, OTA analytics) for reporting.
• Assist in preparing digital marketing performance reports using tools such as Google Analytics, OTA dashboards, or email platforms.
• Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to evaluate other brands’ digital presence across websites and OTAs.
• Help track brand compliance, promotional placement, and rate parity across competitor listings.
• Perform basic on-page SEO tasks such as updating meta titles/descriptions, image alt text, and keyword tags.
• Assist in identifying broken links or SEO errors using tools like SEMrush or Google Search Console.
• Participate in team meetings and take notes/action items as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of marketing calendars, project tracking, and internal communications.
• Stay informed on current digital marketing trends and platform updates.
• Other duties assigned by the digital marketing team.
