Company Description The MSc Ivey Finance & Technology Club (MIFTC) is a student-led organization at Ivey Business School, Western University, dedicated to exploring the intersection of finance and emerging technologies. Role Description
We are hiring a Digital Asset Research & Strategy Analyst to support research, market analysis, and strategic initiatives across cryptocurrency and financial technology ecosystems. This is a full-time, paid role focused on analyzing digital asset markets, evaluating trends, and contributing to structured research and strategy development.
The role involves monitoring crypto markets, exploring blockchain use cases, and supporting insights across both traditional and emerging financial systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about finance and technology and is eager to develop expertise across digital assets, research, and market strategy.
Responsibilities
Analyze cryptocurrency markets, price movements, and digital asset trends
Conduct research on blockchain projects, token ecosystems, and emerging technologies
Track developments across DeFi, fintech, AI in finance, and digital asset markets
Support development of research reports, presentations, and strategic insights
Monitor macroeconomic trends and their impact on financial and crypto markets
Collaborate with team members on research, strategy, and educational initiatives
Contribute to workshops, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
Strong interest in financial markets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology
Basic understanding of digital assets, trading concepts, or financial systems
Familiarity with crypto platforms, wallets, or research tools is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and organizational abilities
Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
