Digital Agency Operations Lead – SEO / GBP / Web / Automation (AI-Fluent) - Contract to Hire
FindGrows is a Dallas-based digital marketing agency serving contractors and service businesses. We handle local SEO, Google Business Profile management, website builds, Google Ads, and automation through GoHighLevel, Make, N8n and many more. Using AI maximally will be required and expected.
The owner focuses on sales and client relationships. We need someone to own the backend — and own it completely.
This is not a task-taker role.
We need someone who understands what needs to happen before being told, keeps projects moving without being pushed, and can represent the agency professionally on client calls when needed.
What you'll actually be doing:
Acting as the day-to-day operational lead between ownership, contractors, and clients
Tracking deliverables across SEO campaigns, GBP setups, website projects, citation builds, and automation workflows
Auditing work quality — catching errors before clients do
Jumping on client calls to give status updates, smooth over issues, and build confidence
Flagging risks, bottlenecks, and gaps to ownership before they become problems
Building and maintaining SOPs, project docs, and internal tracking systems
Leveraging AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) heavily for research, drafting, QA, and workflow automation
What you need to have actually done:
Worked hands-on inside local SEO campaigns, GBP management, or website builds — you don't need to be a specialist, but you need to know how this work operates
Used GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM/automation platform
Managed external contractors or a delivery team
Communicated directly with clients and handled expectations professionally
Used AI tools as a core part of how you work — not occasionally, daily
What will make you stand out:
You catch things. Details, inconsistencies, things that look off — you notice before anyone else does
You think like a client. You can anticipate how a business owner reads a report, reacts to a delay, or interprets a deliverable
You write and communicate with precision. No ambiguity, no fluff
You don't wait to be told what's broken
What this is not:
This is not an SEO specialist role, a copywriting role, or a virtual assistant role. If you need every task assigned to you, this isn't a fit.
Engagement:
Starting part-time, with a clear path to full-time based on performance. Hours are flexible but availability during U.S. business hours (Central Time) is required for calls and communication.
