The current focus is a mobile app designed to support and manage gated communities.

Project Description

The DevOps team is responsible for cloud infrastructure and operations solutions powering the industry-leading IoT cloud platform. The role involves designing and implementing systems at scale in a highly available global cloud platform, collaborating with globally distributed teams and stakeholders. The team uses Agile methodologies and works across both Linux and Windows environments with AWS cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Design and engineer infrastructure environment & platform to solve current challenges, as well as creating future opportunities;

Lead initiatives to improve the platform from inception to design to implementation and optimization, working with different teams and team members;

Collaborate with team members, technical staff, and stakeholders to support the execution of the infrastructure roadmap;

Communicate with internal teams to ensure alignment on infrastructure-related tasks and priorities;

Support and maintain PaaS solutions using vendor platforms and cloud services;

Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for infrastructure and security-related issues;

Execute assigned tasks independently while collaborating with the team when needed;

Provide support and share knowledge within the SRE/DevOps team;

Participate in technical discussions with engineers and architects;

Collaborate with the security team to implement and follow established security practices;

Follow established processes and guidelines for IaaS environments;

Ensure compliance with security policies and standards (e.g., ISO 27001);

Continuously improve technical skills through self-learning, training, and knowledge sharing;

Job Requirements

3-5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or operations roles;

Hands-on experience in implementation and support of infrastructure solutions (cloud and on-prem);

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);

Experience in software development or scripting;

Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP);

Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) in non-complex environments;

Working experience with Kubernetes (deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting);

Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus & Grafana, Datadog, or similar);

Experience with Linux systems; basic familiarity with Windows/Active Directory;

Experience working in a collaborative team environment;

Ability to troubleshoot and debug infrastructure and application issues with guidance when needed;

Understanding of basic network concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups);

Nice to Have

Experience supporting cloud infrastructure in production environments;

Basic understanding of cloud cost management principles;

Familiarity with network security fundamentals;

Exposure to security tools (e.g., logging, monitoring, basic SIEM concepts);
