DevOps Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and scalability of our applications, supporting the companys mission to deliver innovative solutions in the Retail-Tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation:
Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible.Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, primarily on AWS.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process across multiple environments.Monitor and improve pipeline efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration & Integration:
Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.Collaborate with QA teams to automate testing and ensure high-quality releases.
Monitoring & Optimization:
Implement and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure system health and performance.Continuously optimize infrastructure and applications for cost and performance.
Security & Compliance:
Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Strong experience in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.Self-motivated and eager to stay updated on DevOps trends and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or equivalent.Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.Familiarity with database management and optimization.
