The right candidate will be responsible for assisting with general office upkeep and patient care. Dental Assistant Responsibilities: ? Assist the dentist with dental procedures. ? Prepare the patient for dental procedures. ? Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures. ? Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures. ? Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures. ? We are a mobile practice that travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site at the facility. This is an opportunity to make more money than a standard office. Compensation is per day, and days are typically either 8 or 10 hours. You will be expected to arrive every morning at our storage office as early as 8:00 AM and transport our mobile equipment to a senior care facility. At the end of the day, you will bring the equipment back to the office to be sterilized. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed. Dental Assistant Requirements: ? Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting. ? Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required. ? Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4 door sedan is large enough for everything, but an SUV or crossover may be preferable.
