Responsibilities:
Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls in effort to negotiate re-payment plans on past-due and charged-off accounts.
Maintain a thorough understanding of State and Federal laws and regulations related to Debt Collection compliance (FDCPA and CFPB).
Input information in Collection Software to track conversations with Consumer.
Great Communication and negotiation skills
Maturity, honesty, integrity and a strong sense of ethics.
Analyze each consumers unique situation, create and negotiate repayment of past due obligations consistent with guidelines and requirements
Engage in timely follow up and maintain open lines of communication
Research and update consumer contact information
Document work accurately and timely
Follow all company policies and procedures, be on time and participate in all team meetings, activities, etc. while pursuing these duties
Work schedule 40 hours weekly
Ability to work some late nights and Saturdays
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Must be able to pass background check
· At least 1 year Collections Experience
