Database Manager - Orchestration (United States Geological Survey)

As a Database Manager focusing on data orchestration, you will be joining XTS's highly capable and collaborative Digital Services team supporting the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and their system architecture development. In this role, you will be leveraging your expertise in database architecture, collaborating with federal partners and end users, and demonstrating strong programming proficiency for efficiency and continuous system development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, the desired candidate must demonstrate:Bachelor's degree in a related area OR a current equivalent IT professional certificationMinimum of 4 years of relevant of experience may be used in lieu of degree
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including PostgreSQL
Working proficiency with AWS servicesPreferably AWS RDS service, may also demonstrate any AWS certifications
Proficiency working with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines for workflow efficiency
Familiarity with the ArcGIS software suite is preferred
