As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for receiving and processing laboratory specimens and requisitions, as well as entering data into our database. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional results, we'd love to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive and process laboratory specimens and requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment * Enter requisitions data into our database, label, centrifuge, and aliquot all specimens * Assist in training lab assistant staff to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality results * Act in the best interest of patient care and arenaflex, adhering to our core values and principles * Lead duties as assigned by Supervisor, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach to achieving team goals **Job Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college science helpful * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients * Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, with a focus on data entry and specimen processing * Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred, but not required * Ability to work a Monday-Thursday schedule, with hours from 8pm-6:30a **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, with a focus on data entry and specimen processing * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts * Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on accessioning and data entry * Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHRs) * Certification in a related field, such as medical laboratory technology (MLT) or clinical laboratory science (CLS) **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
