Data Entry- Part-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under direct supervision, enter customer and staff data into computer databases.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source document using online computer terminal or personal computer.
Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided.
Recognizes and corrects errors in original data prior to processing.
Recognizes deficiencies in source documents and returns them to originator for correction.
Maintains customer and staff database.
Clerical duties for office administrator
Maintains computerized departmental records.
Maintains confidentiality
EXPERIENCE:
Some data entry experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
Proficient typing, keyboarding, file maintenance
Ability to meet established deadlines
Ability to use the districts Management Information System software
