Data Verification: Confirm data accuracy by comparing it to source documents, making necessary updates.
Data Retrieval: Retrieve information from the database or electronic files as per requests.
Data Maintenance: Perform regular backups to guarantee data preservation.
Organization: Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to prevent loss.
Requirements And Skills
Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk.
Typing Proficiency: Fast typing skills with a preference for knowledge in touch typing.
Software Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
Technical Understanding: Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of databases.
Communication: Strong command of English, both oral and written, along with excellent customer service skills.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy.
Education: High school degree or equivalent.
