Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft-Nebraska is seeking qualified applicants for a Clerical/Data Entry Clerk position in our Vulcraft Sales Office located in Overland Park, KS. This position will provide administrative support to the office in a variety of functions including:
Β Receiving and Manage Bid Requests: Manage incoming bid requests from customers via phone call and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Β Managing the Bid Calendar: Maintain and organize the bid calendar to track deadlines and ensure all bids are submitted on time.
Β Coordinating Out of Territory Quotes: Work with outside offices to coordinate and manage quotes for out-of-territory requests.
Β Booking Purchase Orders: Process and book purchase orders received from customers efficiently.
Β Sending Quotes: Ensure all customer quotes are sent out promptly on bid day.
Β Customer Support: Answer customer phone calls and provide excellent customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Β Experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Β Experience using SAP software
Β Experience in the construction industry
Β Experience with contract documents and FTP sites
Β Experience using Bluebeam software
