Data Entry and Mail Room Processing Clerk
Job Summary: Assists Mail Services in opening, sorting, prepping and counting claims for imaging into the OCR system and utilizing the OCR scanning/data entry system to make determination of dental procedure codes and processing dental claims.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
ā¢ Key data from claims into the claims system using an average monthly production standard.
ā¢ Meet claims turnaround time of 1 day (AR) and 2 days (NJ and TN).
ā¢ Meet monthly individual Quality Assurance quota of 99%.
ā¢ Sorts, preps, counts and scans claims for imaging.
ā¢ Opens mail manually that cannot run through automated opener.
ā¢ Use P & R Imager to capture Xray films.
ā¢ Meet performance goals for mail room.
ā¢ Individual and team quality assurance goals.
ā¢ Department turnaround times.
ā¢ Scanner and/or Opex opener goals.
ā¢ Recycle claims on a weekly basis.
ā¢ Print emails and faxes for imaging.
Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
Minimum Qualifications:
Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1 year data entry experience, intermediate experience working with word processing, 10-key, and alphanumeric data entry.
Employees are to adhere to department and corporate policies and procedures, serve internal and external customers and support the goal of other departments and the company.
