Data Entry Analyst I – Medical Billing Specialist

Are you detail-oriented and skilled in data entry? Join our team as you play a crucial role in managing and inputting medical billing information into our database. We are looking for someone who can handle data with accuracy and efficiency while meeting production expectations...

Key Responsibilities
• Accurately enter line item details of medical bills into the database.
• Review and validate patient and provider information, including dates of service, bill amounts, and itemized details to ensure accuracy.
• Use quality control tools to maintain high standards.
• Meet daily production standards and goals.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Provide general support and take on additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
• Typing speed of 40-60 words per minute.
• Proficiency with alpha and 10-key keystrokes, achieving 10,000 keystrokes per hour with an accuracy rate of 95% or more.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others.
• Consistent punctuality and attendance.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous data entry experience.

Compensation Details

We use a market-based approach for setting pay rates, which may vary depending on location and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The pay range for this position is (12.77 - )19.43 per hour.
