The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining resident information, medical records, and other essential data in our electronic systems. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data, supporting efficient operations and quality care for our residents.
Duties and responsibilities
Ā Enter and update resident information, medical records, and other data accurately and efficiently into electronic databases and systems.
Ā Perform data verification and quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
Ā Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive resident information in compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
Ā Assist with organizing and filing physical documents, records, and paperwork as needed.
Ā Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate data entry tasks and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Ā Generate reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as requested, using data from electronic systems.
Ā Provide support and assistance to team members and supervisors as needed, including answering inquiries and providing information related to data entry processes.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in data entry or related field preferred.
Ā Proven experience in data entry or administrative support role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
Ā Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Ā Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and experience with data entry software or electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ā Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ā Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
