Job Title: Senior Data Engineer β Must have LLM and Must be Ex microsoft employee Location: Remote USA Duration: 6 months + Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring data availability, quality, and security while supporting partner requests and implementing enhancements to the platform. This position requires strong technical expertise in Azure data services, data pipeline development, and operational excellence. Responsibilities: β’ Manage daily operational tasks on the Data Switzerland platform to support requests from 1P partner teams. β’ Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of large-scale datasets. β’ Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform. β’ Implement data security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards. β’ Collaborate with engineering teams and program managers to deliver new features and operational improvements. β’ Leverage Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, Kusto) for data processing and analytics. β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a fast-paced environment. β’ Drive automation and efficiency in operational processes using scripting and tooling. Qualifications: β’ Bachelorβs or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. β’ 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or similar roles. β’ Strong hands-on experience with Azure technologies: β’ o Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapseo Azure SQL, Kusto, Azure Storage Accounts β’ Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation; experience with C# is a plus. β’ Solid understanding of data security principles and ability to implement secure development processes. β’ Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines. β’ Ability to work in a startup-like, fast-paced environment, driving technical investigations and prototyping. β’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong curiosity and willingness to learn.
