Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our App Store Data team, driving business decisions and innovation through data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
Develop and implement analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Scala, and big data ecosystem tools
Communicate complex insights clearly to various stakeholders and teams
Contribute to large-scale quantitative analysis projects, including data quality, modeling, algorithm development, and data visualization
Apply research and analytical skills to detect and mitigate usage-based billing fraud
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)
5+ years of experience as a Data Analytics Engineer with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, and Scala
Experience in the big data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Iceberg, Trino, Airflow)
Proven expertise in data wrangling, data visualization, and reporting (Tableau, Superset, etc.)
Strong understanding of data analytics, structured and unstructured data analysis, predictive modeling, and fraud detection
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong collaborative abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to collect cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical data analysis solutions
Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and trust/safety domains
