Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain dashboards that serve business needs. This role will focus heavily on data visualization, dashboard development, and performance optimization using Tableau and Power BI. This position will be full-time and remote. Job Description We are looking for a Data Analyst who has a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data storytelling, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to turn requirements into meaningful visual products. This position will be Full-time and Remote position What You’ll Do Dashboard Development & Maintenance Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI with a focus on visual best practices and design. Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, user experience, and display accurate information. Refresh, update, and validate datasets regularly to maintain data integrity. Create and update documentation for how the dashboards are built, the custom calculations created. AI-Enabled Analytics & Automation (Toned-Down Version) Use built-in AI features in data visualization tools to improve data preparation, visuals, and user experience, enhance dashboards with automated insights. Leverage natural-language query features to generate quick exploratory insights for stakeholders. Stay up‑to‑date on new AI capabilities released within data visualization tools, or the analytics ecosystem and adopt them where applicable. Work with data team to prepare datasets for visualization. Collaborate with data engineering or IT teams to troubleshoot and improve data pipelines Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Provide insights and recommendations through data storytelling and visual analytics practices. Support ad-hoc analysis needs and respond to inquiries regarding dashboard functionality. Document dashboard related change requests from business. Perform QA on dashboards and underlying data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Document data definitions, logic, workflows, and dashboard usage guidelines. Maintain version control and change logs for reporting assets What You'll Need Required Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst (or equivalent role). Strong expertise in Tableau and Power BI, and advanced visualization techniques. Special attention to visual best practices. Basic familiarity with AI‑assisted analytics features in Power BI or Tableau (tool-embedded, not coding-based). Knowledge of SQL as a bonus for collaborating with data engineering team. Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, relational databases, and ETL concepts. Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. Experience working with large, complex, or sensitive data. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis. Knowledge of governance practices (e.g., data quality, access control). Experience in Agile environments.
