Data, AI, and DevSecOps Engineer (BI / Security / Integration Specialist)
Blackberg is seeking a Data, AI & DevSecOps Engineer to support enterprise AI integration, data analytics, secure development, and system performance optimization for one of the national institutes under Health and Human Services (HHS). This role ensures that government systems leverage advanced technologies while maintaining security, compliance, and operational reliability, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Configure and support enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, CHIRP, Assure OpenAI)
ā¢ Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and analytics solutions
ā¢ Perform database administration and development (SQL/Azure SQL, data integration, optimization)
ā¢ Implement DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
ā¢ Conduct security testing (SAST/DAST), vulnerability remediation, and compliance validation
ā¢ Support API integrations and enterprise data exchange mechanisms
ā¢ Monitor system performance and analytics to support continuous improvement
ā¢ Contribute to system design documentation, testing artifacts, and technical reporting
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience supporting enterprise AI platforms and emerging technologies
ā¢ Strong background in data analytics, BI tools (Qlik Sense), and database management
ā¢ Experience with DevSecOps tools, secure coding practices, and Federal security frameworks
ā¢ Knowledge of API integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise data architectures
ā¢ Experience supporting complex system integrations in regulated environments
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience with NIH/HHS systems, data environments, or security requirements
ā¢ Certifications in cloud platforms, security (e.g., CISSP), or data analytics
ā¢ Familiarity with SonarQube, automated testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Experience supporting AI governance, model validation, or responsible AI practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
