This position is on a future contract pending award announcement. This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.Join Leidos and be part of the backbone of secure military communications. As a Cyber Transport Network Engineer, you will design, deploy, and maintain high-performance networks for SABRE, ensuring that the USAF mission partners can securely communicate across domains. Join a team committed to a Mission!Responsibilities Include: Perform, coordinate, integrate, and supervise network design, configuration, operation, defense, restoration, and improvementsAnalyze network capabilities and performance, identify issues, and recommend corrective actionsFabricate, terminate, and interconnect network infrastructure devicesImplement and manage network operationsEnsure compliance with SABRE SOM installation specifications for all equipment and componentsReview and maintain operational measurement reports, analyzing network utilization and identifying optimization opportunitiesApply Communications Security (COMSEC) program requirementsCollaborate with engineering and security teams to enhance network resilience and defense mechanismsUtilize technical expertise in communications security, technical safety, and secure data transmission to ensure mission-critical network integrityClearance Required:This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.Required Experience, Skills, and Education:BS and 6 or more years’ experience in deployment, sustainment, troubleshooting, and repair network infrastructure systems. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Strong knowledge of network design, configuration, operation, defense, restoration, and improvements in both fixed and deployed environmentsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network performance issues and implement corrective actionsFamiliarity with DoD network security best practices and Risk Management Framework (RMF) complianceDoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+)This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:CCNP Enterprise or CCNP SecurityJNCIA-Junos or Fortinet NSE 4+ CertificationCOMPTIA Network+ and Security+Knowledge of DISA STIGs, DoD STIG compliance, and USAF network security protocolsIdeal candidates will be in areas that allow for cost-effective travel to Hanscom with minimal impact on their regular work schedule.Original Posting:April 2, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
