Job Description SummaryThis position will work on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge in two or more specialized areas. They are responsible for driving the design and implementation efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability and performance alignment w/ the product roadmap with a focus on application development & automation. They may interact w/ functional leaders to support these technical initiatives.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Partner with appropriate teams to advise and design architecture to effectively manage cyber risk in the GEHC and associated environments including;General networking, segmentation, routingSecure cloud services configurationEncryption and certificate managementHost and Application level assuranceMonitoring and loggingVulnerability managementData classificationCompliance to identified standards, regulations, and policyMetrics identified as important to reflect program effectivenessEducation QualificationBachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience8yearsDesired CharacteristicsStrong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate oneStrong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on the ability to effectively influence othersA team-focused mentality with the proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholdersAn ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable mannerAbility to translate technical concepts in ways the intended audience can understand.NoteNote:To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA.
