What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Handle daily member telephone calls, directing them to necessary services, providing education, and resolving issues
• Assist providers with eligibility, benefits, and claims problems
• Collaborate with the Medical Management Department for service authorizations
• Work remotely to ensure efficient service delivery
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service with direct customer contact
• Strong communication skills for interactions via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office or high-volume call center
• Familiarity with HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care operations
