As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.About the roleAs a Customer Service Representative at M&D Insurance Brokerage Inc., you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our clients while assisting them with their commercial insurance needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the insurance brokerage industry. You will be responsible for managing client inquiries, providing accurate information about insurance products, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
ResponsibilitiesClient Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding commercial insurance products and services in a timely and professional manner.
Policy Management: Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring that all requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
Quote Generation: Prepare and present insurance quotes to clients, explaining coverage options and answering questions to help them make informed decisions.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of client interactions, policy details, and relevant documentation in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and service delivery for client accounts.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve client complaints and issues, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications with clients to ensure their needs are met, address any additional questions, and enhance client satisfaction.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products to provide clients with up-to-date information and advice.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards within the insurance brokerage industry.


Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in customer service or support within the insurance brokerage industry, specifically in commercial insurance, is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to clients.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly demeanor and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
