About the Customer Service Representative Role As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our applicants, providing technical assistance, resolving queries, and ensuring a seamless application process. This role requires a unique blend of technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask, be proactive, and empathize with customers. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve applicant queries. Offer technical assistance to applicants, enabling them to complete their applications successfully. Navigate our computerized system to respond to and troubleshoot applicant questions, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Develop strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding to build trust with applicants from diverse backgrounds. Stay up-to-date with our application programs to provide expert support and guidance to applicants. Identify areas for improvement in workflows and suggest solutions to enhance the overall customer experience. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of effective communication, both orally and in writing. Technical savviness, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Strong ability to work with people from varied cultural, socioeconomic, educational, and experiential backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges with a proactive and flexible approach. Ability to manage a high volume of activity across multiple channels (phone, email, and chat). High level of organization and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. U.S. work authorization. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual abilities, with proficiency in English/Chinese (Mandarin)/Spanish. Availability to work a 6 am-3 pm schedule.
