Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager to lead our remote customer support team at Wayfair. As a Customer Service Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving loyalty, and fostering trust. You'll manage a team of 8-16 customer support specialists, providing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure they meet customer needs and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of customer support specialists, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure success
Supervise customer support specialists responding to calls, emails, and chats from customers with post-order issues, including returns, replacements, and refunds
Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, making recommendations to optimize team performance
Conduct side-by-side observations and quality assurance reviews to ensure high-quality customer interactions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources and Senior Leadership, to address employee issues and drive business outcomes
Respond to escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in customer-facing and management roles
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in fast-moving environments
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to provide instant feedback and coaching
Experience with multiple software packages and technologies, with the ability to navigate complex systems
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive performance and achieve business goals
