- Answer inbound customer service calls and make outbound follow up calls in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Assist callers with questions, concerns, or problems, focusing on timely resolution
- Document all actions during the call in proprietary software
- Regular 1x1s and huddles with leadership for performance review and coaching
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Exceptional customer service skills with effective problem-solving abilities
- Professional and clear communication skills in English
- Ability to summarize call details for seamless handoff to the next team member
- Strong interpersonal skills to understand customer issues and needs
- Independent, flexible, and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and de-escalate issues during calls
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying managed healthcare contracts
- Attentive listening skills
- Ability to articulate responses clearly with appropriate voice modulation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in an inbound call center or customer service environment
- Knowledge of hospital patient account billing and 3rd party reimbursements
