Curriculum Developer for STEM Education

Remote Full-time
Our client, a progressive educational consortium focused on advancing STEM learning, is seeking a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer for STEM Education. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute to impactful educational initiatives from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining engaging and effective STEM curricula for various age groups and educational settings. This includes creating lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and hands-on activities that align with national and state educational standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pedagogical best practices, particularly in inquiry-based learning and project-based learning, within the STEM disciplines. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical soundness of all developed materials. Experience in educational technology integration, including the use of digital tools and online learning platforms, is highly valued. You must be adept at translating complex scientific and mathematical concepts into accessible and engaging learning experiences for students. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related field is required; a Master's degree or teaching certification is preferred. Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching within a STEM field is essential. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of STEM education, empowering the next generation with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. If you are passionate about education and possess a talent for creating innovative learning resources, we encourage you to apply.
