Creative Design Manager
JOB SUMMARYThe Creative Design Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative concepts across multiple channels, including digital, print, and brand initiatives. This role manages and develops a team of designers, ensures alignment with brand and business objectives, and contributes to the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused creative work. Reporting to the Creative Associate Director, the Creative Manager provides direction to the design team, supports the execution of creative strategy, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with company standards. Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction & ExecutionLead the development and execution of creative concepts across campaigns, digital, print, and brand initiativesEnsure creative output aligns with brand standards, customer expectations, and business objectivesProvide design direction and contribute hands-on creative work.Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency People Leadership & DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and develop a team of designers, including assigning work, setting priorities, and monitoring performanceProvide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development plansFoster a collaborative and accountable team environmentParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and talent development in partnership with leadership and Human Resources Operational ManagementPlan, assign, and monitor project workload to ensure efficient use of team resourcesManage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple projectsIdentify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to improve efficiency and qualityEnsure adherence to established processes, workflows, and deadlines Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Merchandising, and other business functions, to align on project objectives and deliverablesCommunicate project status, priorities, and risks to stakeholders in a timely mannerPresent creative concepts and deliverables to internal stakeholders as needed QualificationsRequiredAssociate or Bachelorâs degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field8+ years of professional design experience3+ years of experience supervising or leading creative professionalsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking PreferredExperience in retail, consumer products, or customer-facing environmentsExperience supporting omnichannel campaigns Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong leadership and team development skillsAbility to exercise independent judgment and decision-makingStrong organizational and project management skillsEffective communication and presentation skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality WHO WE AREDiscover At Home, the Home DĂ©cor with endless aisles of must-have styles at prices so low you won't believe it.
