CRA Mortgage Loan Officer- New Jersey

The CRA Mortgage Loan Officer will establish relationships with community organizations and Realtors to generate lending opportunities while ensuring compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Responsibilities Sell and originate residential mortgage loans to a predetermined sales goal focused in CRA assessment area needs Identify and meet with prospects, explain various mortgage products available, determine best alternatives together with prospects and finalize sales Work with community based organizations and municipalities to collect and submit subordinate financing (down payment assistance programs) for consideration in originating mortgages to low-moderated income borrowers Skills Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Must have a minimum one year of experience marketing and originating CRA mortgage loans and loan products Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) Must have effective proven effective sales skills Must have excellent time management skills Must be self-motivated and ability to work with minimal to no supervision Must be willing and able to travel to assigned branch locations, customers' homes and businesses, and perform presentations when requested Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must have superior customer service skills Must have proficiency using Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel Proficiency with industry standard Mortgage origination software programs is strongly preferred Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan Life, accident, and disability insurance Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) Wellness programs Paid parental leave Military leave Vacation and other paid time off Sick leave in accordance with applicable state laws Paid holidays Company Overview WSFS Bank is the seventh oldest, continuously-operating bank in the United States.
