Contracts Specialist
Flywheel is a company that provides digital commerce solutions to leading brands, helping them accelerate growth across major digital marketplaces. They are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accuracy while supporting the sales organization in closing deals efficiently. Responsibilities Draft and review a high volume of commercial agreements, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance in contract language to protect the organization’s interests Maintain and update standard contract templates to reflect current legal standards and business needs Manage contract approvals by following a playbook and established processes Make informed decisions based on pre-defined guidelines, escalating issues when necessary Ensure contracts comply with company policies, risk parameters, and relevant laws Identify and resolve potential risks within the scope of established playbook rules Navigate organizational changes and adjust to new processes, while maintaining high productivity and professionalism Adjust workflows as necessary to address shifting priorities or business needs Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Client Services, and Finance, to ensure seamless contract operations Skills 1-3+ years of experience in Legal Operations or a Commercial Contracts role Experience supporting sales teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong knowledge and understanding of contracting law, and familiarity with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs Experience with contract management systems and tools, ideally Conga CLM Comfortable working with contract redlining tools (e.g. Conga CLM, Ironclad) Basic understanding of Salesforce is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Workspace Familiarity with e-signature platforms (e.g. DocuSign, Adobe Sign) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong decision-making ability within pre-defined guidelines Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Strong communicator who can translate contract concepts for non-legal stakeholders Benefits Competitive paid time off, including annual leave plus paid public holidays Great learning and development opportunities Benefits that help you live your best life Parental leave and benefits Volunteering opportunities Company Overview Flywheel’s unified best-in-class services combine tailored expertise with cutting-edge software solutions to achieve a singular goal: To pioneer the future of commerce and inspire a new standard of partnership.
