Responsibilities • Publish contract and procurement requirements for bidders. • Develop, evaluate or review contracts, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitation for Bids (IFBs), Requests For Qualifications (RFQs), Requests For Information (RFIs), Requests for Application (RFAs), Sole/Single Source Procurements, and other related financial documents. • Perform routine administrative processes associated with the contracts, review contractor performance and compliance. • Perform contract monitoring tasks including addressing any necessary contract modifications and contract amendments. • May supervise clerical or paraprofessional staff. Requirements • A bachelor's degree or higher for Trainee 1 and Trainee 2 positions. • A bachelor's degree or higher AND one year of professional experience managing contracts for Trainee 2 position. • A bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience managing contracts for Contract Management Specialist 1 position. • A Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree in a related field may substitute for some experience requirements. Nice-to-haves • Ability to read and comprehend documents. • Ability to compare documents to laws, rules and regulations for conformity. • Ability to communicate contract requirements to agency staff.
