Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Chester, PA
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Chester, PA to hire a dedicated LPN/LVN for a full-time position in a special education setting for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to provide vital healthcare support to students in a nurturing and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Provide medical care and support to students with special needs
Ā Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and assist with health monitoring
Ā Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to ensure the well-being and safety of students
Ā Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with school district and state regulations
Qualifications:
Ā Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Ā Certification in CPR and First Aid (required)
Ā At least one year of experience in a healthcare or school setting is preferred
Ā Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
