Contract Attorney - Temporary/Part Time/As Needed - 8-12 week assignment We are seeking an experienced contract attorney to provide part-time, on‑demand legal support for the review and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking flexible work with quick turn-around expectations. Responsibilities: Review, analyze, and provide feedback on contracts including NDAs, professional services agreements, vendor agreements, design-professional contracts, and related documents Identify legal risks and recommend revisions consistent with company standards and business objectives Turn contract reviews within an expected 24–48 hour timeframe Communicate clearly with Chief Legal Officer regarding proposed edits and key issues Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active Texas license in good standing Prior experience reviewing and negotiating commercial/construction contracts Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgment Ability to manage workload independently and meet short deadlines Experience working in a flexible, as‑needed capacity preferred Work Arrangement: Temporary contract role - 8-12 weeks Part-time or as-needed hours Remote work is possible Some of our Benefits: 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting Merit-Based Bonus Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays Personal Time Allowances 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
